Exam Centres for PSCE and MSCE
In view of the discussions held during the Examination Committee meeting on the 21st November 2024, and upon subsequent review, the District School Education Board (DSEB), CADC, has decided to reinstate all 38 (thirty-eight) Examination Centres for the conduct of the PSCE and MSCE Common Examination 2024-2025.
This decision supersedes the earlier notification temporarily suspending 5 (five) examination centres. The reinstated Examination Centres will function as originally designated, ensuring convenience and equitable access for all students.
The revised list of all 38 Examination Centres, along with their feeder schools, is attached as an ‘ANNEXURE’ for reference.
All concerned schools and stakeholders are requested to take note of this update and ensure all necessary arrangements are made for the smooth conduct of the examination as per the revised arrangements.
This is issued with the approval of the CEM, CADC dated 6/12/2024.
The District School Education Board in its Examination Committee meeting held on the 21st November 2024 has approved 33 (thirty-three) schools out of 38 Examination Centres for conducting the Common Examination 2024-2025 under District School Education Board, CADC. The designated Examination Centres along with the feeder schools are shown in separate ‘ANNEXURE’.
Further, for the smooth conduct of the PSCE and MSCE common examination 2024-2025 and to ensure optimal utilization of resources, the DSEB, temporarily suspended 5(five) examination Centres and the affected students are assigned to the corresponding examination Centres given in the list below:

In exercise of powers conferred under Rule 16(1)(a)(b) read with Rule 19(2) of the Chakma Autonomous District Council (District School Education Board) Rules, 2002, the Executive Committee of Chakma Autonomous District Council is pleased to appoint Shri Auntor Chakma S/o Ananda Mohan Chakma of Borapansury-II as Vice-President of District School Education Board for a period of 1 (one) year with immediate effect.
CADC Felicitates Top Performers of Science Talent Search Examination
Kamalanagar, September 3, 2024: The Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC) felicitated the successful candidates of the CADC Science Talent Search Examination, 2024, in a ceremony organized by the District School Education Board (DSEB) at the CADC Conference Hall today. The examination was conducted on July 29, and the results were announced on August 5. Out of a total of 50 candidates, six were declared successful in the examination.
The top three ranked candidates were awarded cash prizes of βΉ20,000, βΉ15,000, and βΉ10,000, respectively, along with certificates of recognition. Dg. Bidarson Chakma from Duloram Public Higher Secondary School secured the 1st rank, followed by Dg. B. Jaagawn Chakma from Nirvan Residential School in 2nd place, and Dg. R.T. Kritish Chakma from New Angel Public Higher Secondary School in 3rd place. Consolation prizes, consisting of a cash prize of βΉ3,500 each along with certificates, were awarded to Dgb. Niribili Chakma (4th rank) from Duloram Public Higher Secondary School; Dg. Bir Bir Devbarman from New Angel Higher Secondary School; and Dg. Amar Jeet Chakma from Nirvan Residential School, who both secured the 5th rank.
The ceremony was graced by Honβble Chief Executive Member (CEM) and MLA Dg. Rasik Mohan Chakma as the Chief Guest, with Dg. Mohan Chakma, Chairman, as the Guest of Honour. The event was also attended by other Executive Members, officials from the DSEB, CADC officials, and the guardians of the awardees.
In his address, Dg. Rasik Mohan Chakma congratulated the successful candidates and emphasized the importance of science in todayβs world, highlighting opportunities beyond the traditional fields of medicine and engineering. He expressed hope that this achievement would inspire students to work hard with determination. Referring to the lower turnout for the exam this year, he urged DSEB officials to view it as a challenge and to work towards attracting more candidates in the future.
Other speakers at the event included Dg. Mohan Chakma, Chairman; Dg. Anand Kumar Chakma, President of the DSEB; Dg. Gana Chandra Chakma, Education Officer; and Dg. Digambar Chakma, Court President. They extended their heartfelt congratulations to the successful candidates and stressed the need to sustain these educational programs, which play a crucial role in nurturing a competitive spirit and encouraging academic excellence among students.

The result of the CADC Science Talent Search Examination 2024 for students of Class VII & VIII Conducted by District School Education Board, Chakma Autonomous District Council, Kamalanagar on July 29th, 2024 is hereby officially declared and published for Public information.
CADC Science Talent Search Exam, 2024 successfully held
Kamalanagar, 29 July, 2024: A total number of 50 candidates, including 19 girls and 31 boys, appeared in the first CADC Science Talent Search Examination, 2024, held today at Kamalanagar Public School. The exam was conducted by the District School Education Board (DSEB), and is open to students of class VII & VIII from Schools affiliated to the board. Each school had the opportunity to select 5 (five) students to compete in the examination.
The examination tested the students on areas such as Science (40 marks), Mathematics (40 marks) and Critical Thinking (20 marks). All the top 10 performers will be awarded with a certificate of merit and cash prizes. The top three ranked candidates will receive cash prizes of Rs. 20,000, Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 10,000 respectively while rest of the candidates will each receive cash prize of Rs.3,500. However, candidates must score at least 60% and above to be eligible for the prizes.
The CADC Science Talent Search Exam has been initiated to identify and nurture talented students in the Science subject and to instill in them the spirit of healthy competition. The date for result declaration is expected to be announced within a week.
Condolence meeting held for Late Dg. Jayan Chakma, Executive Engineer, CADC
Kamalanagar, 02 July, 2024: A solemn condolence meeting was held today at the CADC Secretariat Office in honor of late Dg. Jayan Chakma, Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, CADC, who passed away early this morning. The meeting was conducted by Dg. Montu Chakma, Executive Member and in-charge Chief Executive Member, and was attended by the Councilors and officials of CADC.
Late Dg. Jayan Chakma was born on January 1, 1968, and joined the CADC as a Cultural Assistant on September 17, 1987. He was eventually promoted to the post of Executive Engineer in the Public Works Department (PWD).
The eulogy of the departed Executive Engineer was read by Dg. Montu Chakma, highlighting his invaluable contributions to the CADC through the Public Works Department and his efforts in the development of the Chakma language, scripts and the preservation of the Chakma culture.
Dg. Jayan Chakma passed away due to liver cirrhosis at 2:40 AM on July 2, 2024, at the age of 56 years.
A silent prayer was observed for the peace of the departed soul.
