Kamalanagar, 15 April, 2020:    The Executive Committee, Chakma Autonomous District Council in its meeting held today in the morning decided to facilitate the return of Chakma people stranded in different northeastern states due to lockdown imposed throughout the country to fight Covid-19. This has come following the decision of the state government to bring back people stuck in the northeastern states.

All such people willing to return home can submit their details by accessing the link https://forms.gle/gW48BtUDWUVo7fB68 . The list of such people will be forwarded to the Mizoram government for further necessary action. The Mizoram House Liaison Officers of respective states can also be contacted to register names of persons intending to come back home as and when the state government issues order in this regards.

All persons willing  to avail this initiative of the government shall have to abide by the guidelines to be issued by the government of Mizoram in due course of time. The returnees may be put under quarantine at Aizawl at designated centers before they are allowed to proceed to their respective home.
