Kamalanagar, 25 July 2016: The Chakma Autonomous District Council in its first sitting of the Monsoon Session today tabled five Bills namely CADC (Money Lending & Control) regulation, 2016, CADC (Administration of Justice) Rules, 2016, CADC (Employees Pension Fund) Fund Rules, 2015, CADC (Recruitment) Rules, 2016 and CADC (Village Council) (Amendment) Act, 2016. The first three Bills were introduced in the previous Session which were forwarded to Select Committees.

The Question Hour discussed two unstarred questions and one starred question put by Dg. H. Amaresh Chakma and Dg. Laxmi Bikash Chakma.

Dg. Laxmi Bikash Chakma, MDC for whom it was his first appearance was welcomed by the Chairman, CADC. He got elected from the 10-Mandirasora MDC Constituency in the by-election held for the Constituency after the demise of Dg. Indralal Chakma.

The Session was adjourned till 28th July 2016.
