Kamalanagar, 11 June 2016: CADC has procured two buses to introduce bus service within Kamalanagar town. At present only taxi service is available for the commuters of Kamalanagar town.

The private passenger service will face a competition with the introduction of the bus service. So far, passengers have to be at the mercy of the taxi service because of absence of any other service provider.The service will mark a new chapter in the chronicles of CADC’s development.

The buses have been procured at a cost of Rs.30 Lakh with fund provision from NITI Ayog. A total of Rs.4.58 Cr. were received as one time assistance under NITI Ayog. Various works have been undertaken with the fund. Installation of Solar Power plants, setting up of mineral water cum Dawchuni wine factory, renovation of Kamalanagar town road, etc. are some of the works taken up with the fund.
